Russian-African Public Forum

The first Russian-African Public Forum took place on October 22, 2018. The event was widely covered by russian and foreign media and was very well welcomed by African partners. Even now, Russian and African participants of the previous Forum are emphasizing significant influence of the Forum for the establishment and development of the widest range of comprehensive Russian-African relations. As the Forum has shown, such type of discussions has a great demand today, and therefore it was decided to hold it on an annual regular basis.

The organization of such a "Russian-African" public dialogue has become a unique, promising and important confirmation of our friendly relations with the African continent and one of the resources for attracting the attention of public organizations, the business community, the media and state institutions of Russia and Africa to the comprehensive development of relations in all spheres of activity.

The dialogue of civil societies in the global context is an integral, essential part of all spheres of interaction, as well as an additional tool for promoting, among other, the interests of economic, political and humanitarian cooperation. The Forum of 2020 assumes a wider coverage of the audience, expanding the presence of countries of the African continent, also the agenda and content of the event, which will include the topics of humanitarian interaction, environmental protection, interaction at the regional level, education of modern youth, the development of volunteering, and expansion of multilateral cooperation in the direction of public diplomacy with Africa within the framework of International Alliances, such as SCO, EAEU, BRICS, etc.
